HAUK was created by a group of enthusiastic riders and archers that found themselves brought together in 2007, after many meetings and training days in various places it was decided that a dedicated group must be formed to develop the sport and bring new people together.  HAUK has been formed to do just that, we do not follow one specific style as we have founders that shoot all kinds of traditional archery, also our riders come from all different areas of the equestrian world.

Over the last few decades the sport had grown fantastically abroad, but until now the UK has not had much of a stand with few people understanding the sport or having an awareness of it existence, due to the co-founders of HAUK wishing to expand their reaches within the UK, we believe the UK has much to contribute.  Not only do we have a rare history of continuous archery practice, we also have equestrian skills which are second to none.

As an association we will provide Demo's, Coaching, Training and Competitions within the UK and have a presents Internationally.  Our focus is to bring Horseback Archery into the lime light and get it recognised as a sport which all the family and any body can not only enjoy but become successful in.

The UK has Horseback Archers who have already acquitted themselves well in International Competition and growing numbers of people in training -of course, we need more!  Could that be you.
